Privacy
This site asks nothing of you. There is no account, no login, no newsletter, no comment box and no form. You can read every page of it without typing a character.
What gets logged
Standard, anonymised analytics: which pages are read, roughly which country a visit came from, and which page sent it. It tells me that the page about the cloisters is read more than the page about the aqueduct. It does not tell me who you are, and nothing is sold or handed to anybody who would like to know.
The booking widgets
The availability panels on these pages are served by GetYourGuide and they set cookies of their own, principally so that a booking can be attributed to this site (how that works). When you book you do it on GetYourGuide, under their privacy policy, with the details you type there. Nothing you enter in a booking reaches me: I see a count, not a customer.
Fonts and what else loads
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. There are no advertising networks, no trackers beyond the two things named above, and no third-party scripts other than the booking widget.
Your choices
Block cookies in your browser and this site still works; the booking widget may not, and a booking made with those cookies blocked will not be attributed here, which costs you nothing. If you want to ask about any of this, email me.
